Due to Covid-19, pet travel restrictions vary from country to country. Below you will find restrictions we have been informed of. This is something we will continuously update as time goes on to help provide you with current, important pet transportation information.
North America (United States)
United Airlines has suspended all pet shipping flights until further notice. This is for domestic and international flights. American Airlines, Delta, Emirates, and Lufthansa have flights available for pet transportation, with limitations in some locations.
We will be using American PetEmbark, American Airlines cargo, and IPATA to safely transport your pet. Please reach out to us to find out more about what we can do to assist you and your transportation needs!
Active Travel Embargoes for Dogs
Effective on March 1, 2023, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will now require foreign vaccinated dogs entering the United States from high-risk countries for dog rabies to have a valid CDC Rabies Vaccination Microchip Record. The CDC will NOT accept foreign-issued pet passports or any other certificates for foreign rabies vaccinations. Visit the CDC website for the latest restrictions and requirements.
Effective on September 28, 2022, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) implemented a new measure preventing the entry of commercial dogs from high-risk countries for dog rabies into Canada. Visit the CFIA website for the latest restrictions and requirements.
